Vertical design for capping hardened concrete test cylinders assures smooth, right-angle end surfaces. The test cylinder is placed into mold against upright guide after filling recess with molten capping compound (ACM-CAP). The fixture can be easily disassembled for base plate resurfacing, if needed, to extend the life of the device.

Designed for 2x4" & 3x6" concrete test cylinders

These fixtures are manufactured from high quality steel using 5/8" thick material for base and ground to within 0.002".

Conforms to ASTM C617 & AASHTO T-231
