HYTECH High Strength Capping Compound is in
flake form with compressive strengths in 2 hours
of 8,000 psi average using 2" cube method. This
compound is blended in a molten state providing a
guaranteed consistency with minimum shrinkage,
higher density which yields more caps per pot and less odor.

Accurate and Consistent. Based on Comparison tests this unit indicates excellent results versus capping with hydrocal gypsum performed according to astm C140. The block cap compression pad is a fiberous composite laminated to a tough plastic sheeting. The composite flows into the irregularities of the cmu, thus distributing the test load uniformly - with no damage to the cell stems.
The plastic sheeting provides rigidity and provides protection to machine platens.
